Refrasil is an industry refractory high temperature foundry silica cloth. Works up to 1800˚F (982˚C) Melts at 2900˚F 1593˚C (Some specs show it melts at 3100˚F). It is recommended you pre-fire the cloth (500˚per hour / 1400˚10 minutes). Do not fire above 1650˚, as the glass you are fusing will melt into the cloth permanently. This cloth can be used to cover the ceramic fiber used in kiln building, and other uses such as a glassblowing "knock-off" or "crack-off"  table, with fiberfrax beneath it. It can also be used in various fire safety applications.
